Why do we want to make sure you are drinking WATER? Well, keeping your body hydrated is always important but especially during pregnancy. For this conversation we are going to stick to why it is important for your ultrasound images. It's all about Physics. Fun Right? Ultrasound works using high frequency soundwaves and their echoes to create the image on the screen. Soundwaves act differently when traveling through different materials. For instance, structures that are made up of fluid will appear black on the screen and structures that are solid like bone will appear bright white. Sound waves tend to scatter when there are gasses or air in their path which makes a fuzzy image. That is why ultrasound techs use gel, to eliminate the air between the probe and your skin. Okay, so if you are still with me, drinking the daily recommended amount of water will keep tissues, like skin and muscle, well hydrated. This allows the sound to penetrate your tissues without scattering creating a crisp smooth image. Now you know ladies! Go load up on your favorite bottled water, warn your kidneys, get a night light in your bathroom and let's make some pretty images together.

"We absolutely loved our experience at Love View. At first our baby would not co-operate with pictures but Samantha was sweet and understanding. She was able to get our baby to roll over and let us see her entire face. I will definitely be back for another Ultrasound."

"I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get a 3D-4D ultrasound! They were very nice and the viewing screen in the room was huge. I had six family members with me and they made sure we were all comfortable and had great viewing of our little boy."

Q.
Does an ultrasound at Love View take the place of an ultrasound at a doctor’s office?
A.
No, absolutely not. A 3D/4D Ultrasound at Love View will not take the place of a diagnostic study done by your doctor’s office.  Our ultrasounds are for bonding and viewing your precious baby. To have an ultrasound with us you must be receiving care from a licensed medical professional and have already had a diagnostic ultrasound.
Q.
When is the best time to have my 3D/4D ultrasound?
A.
We are happy to image your little one at any time after 10 weeks. The best time for a 3D/4D Ultrasound is 24-34 weeks. However, it is possible to get adorable images of baby before and after the recommended time frame. Earlier imaging can provide you a glimpse of your baby’s amazing development. Later imaging done once baby has started to gain weight will provide more detailed facial images and cute little hands and feet.
Q.
Will I get perfect images of my baby at every session?
A.
It is our mission at Love View to provide you with a session that is both memorable and filled with great images of baby. We will make every effort to get beautiful images. However, there are a few things that are beyond our control. Baby’s overall position, the amount of amniotic fluid, the position of baby’s arms and legs, and Mommy’s body tissue. These things can have an effect on the clarity and content of the images. Please rest assured we will do everything we can get the best images possible. If we are unable to see baby’s face at a 3D/4D session or if we are unable to determine gender during a Little Man or Little Miss session we will happily schedule you for a re-look.
Q.
Will my family and friends be able to come?
A.
We are able to comfortably accommodate up to 6 people other than Mommy. We also provide a complimentary live streaming service for loved ones who are unable to attend.
Q.
What can I do to give the best chance of good images?
A.
Stay Hydrated! You can make sure you are drinking plenty of water for several days before your session. It is also helpful if you have a light snack right before your session for example fruit or fruit juice
